Dynamic HTML is an advanced course in creating dynamic Web content using DHTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Web Scripting. In this class you will quickly learn, through hands-on examples, how to add exciting and dynamic, cutting edge features to your HTML pages and Web designs. This class requires that you have a working knowledge of HTML, some familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets, and some first-hand experience at Web page creation.
Students will learn a variety of methods for creating dynamic Web content. They will also learn the advanced application of complex Cascading Style Sheet techniques and will also develop a working familiarity with various methods of Web Scripting. All required reading will be provided online as part of the course. Students will not be required to purchase additional software, books, or materials. Earn a certificate (both hard copy and electronic) upon successful completion (additional charges apply).  Course Description This is an advanced course in creating dynamic Web content using DHTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Web Scripting. Course Lessons | | DHTML Lesson OneThis Lesson covers the role of Cascading Style Sheets, CSS Controls and Standards, and the Document Object Model in DHTML. | DHTML Lesson TwoThis Lesson will cover the use of CSS Classes, ID's, Contextual Selectors, and Element Positioning in producing dynamic Web content. | DHTML Lesson ThreeThis Lesson is a detailed presentation of the Document Object Models -- there uses and conflicts. | DHTML Lesson FourThis Lesson illustrates how DHTML uses scripting events to generate dynamic positioning, and dynamic styles. | DHTML Lesson FiveThis Lesson deals with Event Handlers and Scripting Functions. It also includes 14 Dynamic HTML example pages for students to copy and experiment with. | DHTML Lesson SixThis Lesson focuses on creating a Universal DOM script.
