Course Description
This course introduces, explores, and illustrates netiquette, emoticons, abbreviations, acronyms, concepts and terminology related to online communications, including (but not limited to) email, online discussion forums, chat, and instant messaging. Students will learn terminologies used in the various online communications tools with definitions, image and picture illustrations. The focus is on netiquette rules, use of emoticons, commonly used abbreviations and acronyms for online communications, and instant messaging.
